Joshua Levy Assistant is a self-hosted personal productivity application that keeps its user's day on track. It maintains a task list and calendar, plans meals, and sends SMS notifications: task reminders at the moment they matter, calendar event alerts, daily schedule check-ins, and meal or grocery reminders. The service is informational only — it sends no marketing, no promotions, and enrols a single subscriber: the account owner who operates it.
Messaging is enabled from the application's settings screen. The owner enters his mobile number and ticks a consent box that discloses the message types, expected frequency (typically 2–10 messages per day), that message and data rates may apply, and how to stop (reply STOP) or get help (reply HELP). Messaging stops immediately when the subscriber replies STOP (a final confirmation message is sent) or removes his number from the settings screen. Consent is never a condition of any purchase, and mobile numbers are never shared with third parties.
